FD 7 not working

All of the sudden I'm not getting any sounds from my hi hat trigger pedal - the roland fd7. I checked the cables and opened up the thing to see if there were any loose wires and I haven't found anything.

Anybody have any suggestions - and what are my professional repair options also.

Man that stinks. Had you made any settings changes in your module immediately prior to the failure?

One think you might try would be to carry the pedal to your local music store and see if you can try it on one of their kits. If it continues to fail there then you've eliminated everything still at your house from the list of suspects.

I haven't changed the setting on the module, not that I know of - but I don't really mess with the settings ever - what specific settings could have done this?

I'm in New Haven connecticut. there's a sam ash nearby but I fear they might charge an arm and a leg.

Don't really know. Just grasping at straws, really. Except, maybe, the HH trigger settings, or the internal mixer settings.

Yeah, it'd be a shame to have to send it in. Don't suppose its still under warrenty?

Not sure it will work, but try swapping your FD-7 with your kick input to see if it triggers your kick drum sound. That will tell you if its the pedal.
