  • Shameless Self-propaganda! (Check out my band!)

Here's a link to a song my band, Fuze, did in the studio over the summer. http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/472/fuzeny.html

We're a heavy rock band with roots like Fu Manchu and Smashing Pumpkins. No e-drums on this, hate to tell yous guys, but I am incorporating lots of electronics into our newer stuff. If you like what you hear, also check out http://www.fuzerocks.com and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fuzemusic/

And if you REALLY like what you hear, let me know and I'll see if I can get a demo out to you!

I would love to go give it a listen, but I'm facing firewall issues.

If you just don't want to visit their site, that's your prerogative. For those who don't like giving their address out, just put any old address in there. I enter old email addresses which are no longer valid and it accepts them just fine. You can use one of those Yahoo accounts just for that purpose and purge it once every week or so. I sure don't let the spam stop me from checking out the sites.

I had a listen. It's some hard driving music to say the least and not what I am normally into. I would imagine you can get a crowd really fired up playing like that all night. Can't tell too much with computer speakers but it sounds like you captured the drums well. It will be interesting to see what you do with the e-drums.

There is no shortage of drums! Do you have a roadie to haul and set up?

What is this term "roadie" that you use?

            Not bad at all...

It reminded me a lot of old Anthrax...I was waiting for the Charlie Benante double bass assault to kick in. The mix sounded a little washy but that might be the tinny laptop speakers lying to me.

Anyways it's definatley a solid performance
Jazz nerd with old school Gretch kit and dirty Zildjian K's all around. Hart Pro 5.3 kit with TD-8 in my apartment for practicing without disturbing my annoying neighbors.

Anthrax! Hah! I never thought about that. I think the washy mix is from the 128 kbs encoding that mp3.com forces you into. The CD sounds great for a demo (not just tootin' my own horn).
