  • how do you upload an image file larger than 1 mega ?

    i've seen some people uploading pictures of their gear not as attachments but included in the post.

    How do u do this ?
    Ex E-kits:
    ''Lernean Hydra'' ( a bounche of roland pads with a td-6 module)
    ''Lucy'' (Diamond electronic drums with a td-12 module)
    current E-kit
    ''Cherry Gretschy Lady'' (Gretsch Catalina Ash 6 piece A to E kit-Roland td20 module-A to E cymbals)

    A-kit
    " Mrs.Catalina'' (Gretsch Catalina maple 6 piece kit-Paiste signature+Masterwork custom made cymbals)

    You need a host site like www.photobucket.com (it's free).
    You upload your image there and then copy and paste the link in your post here.

      thanks Kev for that,i am uploading the files right now.

      But it's in the post these guys have the photo's.Check the showcase to see what i mean

        Once you have your photos on a photo server, go up to the url viewer on your computer, and copy the url of your pic on the photo server. ( Don't right-click on the photo)

        Then, open up a reply box or new thread box here at vdrums, and click on the button that looks like a yellow post card of a mountain. When it opens, paste the url of the photo site into it, and then, type ".jpg" at the end of the url, then click "OK".

        Your picture should show up like this one:

          I love Picamatic. (http://www.picamatic.com)

          As soon as you upload, it gives you 4 different ways to post links to the photo. It includes code for forums, chats, blogs or straight url. I use the straight url.

          When you click on the image icon in this forum, paste the url from picamatic, and you're good to go.
