Lately I LOVE to play "Little Wing", the Stevie Ray Vaughn version.
It may initially appear to be a slow guitar song, it is a deceptively amazing song for drums, so expressive. It's interesting how much this slow blues style relates to jazz in the fills and the feel. Give it a try.

We just finally took that song out of our setlist...and now the damn Toadies are back together.

I'm going to be the odd one here: recently I like playing Be my little baby - The Ronettes. Just try it.

CCR, I heard it through the grape vine, it's long and you can go nuts, and loud.

                          The Healer (because it's hard)

Power and the passion, in fact all of Midnight Oil (for power drumming)

Every Rose (for a gentle big hit)

                          LoverBoy (for a tight hit)

Doobies (for rolling hi-hats at speed)
                          Nothing of importance here
