  • USC Debuts New Music Program

Under development for sometime, USC (University of Southern California) is launching a new Popular Music performance major program which Roland is proud to be involved with.

"..all students in the Popular Music program would need to have, for lack of a better term, “groove.” To address this, the Roland Company is building USC a university-based electronic drumlab, to be completed in November 2008. All Popular Music students, no matter their main instrument, will be required to take a drumset class."

That's just so cool. USC has always had such impressive music and band programs , and it's no surprise that they're so progressive like this.

Can't tell my wife about it though. She's a Bruin.

Good to hear from you again. Hope they don't have you traveling around the country too much.
