I wish them both well, and I agree with Sox, Travis is an amazingly skilled player, he plays some wicked patterns on the hi-hat and has some hard to fathom moves.
Speedy recovery to both.
I signed on to post this story - happened not far from a friend's home - and see it's already been posted and well-responded.
I tried to get in contact with some "insiders" there; only info is that both he and the DJ are still critical at Augusta's Joseph Still Burn Center with various relatives, friends, and associates already there or enroute.

I was thinking, and I couldn't help thinking - there goes another career to a crazy accident. I can't help but be pessimistic seeing and as 4 others died. I am really sad as he was one of the drummers that I grew up admiring. He may have been my first major influence before I heard Peart and others.
I am so sad to here about this and hope for a swift recovery.
I also was told Travis has 3 young children. I don't know what the status of his immediate family is (as far as whereabouts, etc) right now, but hope that they all are comforted and well cared for at this time.
