    Does anyone know of fairly decent, cheap software for creating drum parts that you could then print out? Thanks!!!

    Another thread that appears previously...but I will say again, Overture is very good and much cheaper than finale or sibelius...

      tabtrax - there is a demo version you can download that is a great way to try it out. You 'write' out your parts and it plays it back, midi. The demo only lets you play 4 measures, but if you buy it - I think its $30, you can print and do what you want. I just learned about it last week and am considering purchasing it.
