  • What's the meaning of your username?

Being the curious feline that I am, I am always wondering what inspires our username choices. Sometimes this is obvious but often it is anything but...

Mine is quite simple. It is the name of my band and was created by combining two significant elements in my life journey so far....
The 'Super' part comes from my competitive days as a professional strongwoman and powerlifter and the 'Puss' part comes from the simple fact that I adore anything and everything feline.

So, if you feel inclined, tell everyone the story behind your vdrums.com username.

Great topic. Yes I was curious about your name.

No special meaning to mine. Just a new drummer, thus the 'Green' part. The 'mean' because I have a mad passion for the drums.

Good question, I'm sure some of the responses will be very interesting...provided no one has a brain cramp (like I did, and explained something else, duh!)......

Mine isn't too hard to figure out I think.

I played guitar for a long time (Picks), then I got the drums (sticks)

I almost need to change it as I don't seem to be using any guitar picks these days...

I can relate to the passion Greenbutmean

Picksorsticks, I'm not quite sure I follow your reply though. I'm not seeing the reference to Tele or iPod in Picksorsticks.

Many of the long-time forum members - and probably several who are no longer with us - explained theirs in this related thread from almost 2 1/2 years ago:

Mine is explained in this post from that thread:

Hart Pro 6.4 (Hammered Chrome), Roland TD-8, Gibraltar Throne w/ Backrest, Tama Iron Cobra Bass Pedal, ALTEC A7-500 "Voice of the Theatre" Speaker/Horn System with Sunn Concert Slave amp and lot of other audio stuff, Sony MDR-7506 Headphones, Zildjian DipSticks - and Czech Skorpian, Heckler & Koch MP5, etc Submachine Guns to stick out the window behind my kit for some quite unique fills...

            SuperPuss,
I'm also missing the 'Telepodder' reference, as it pertains to the v-drum forums, here. Picksorsticks is easy enough, either (guitar) picks or (drum) sticks.

            As mine translates:
            Jam- to enjoy playing music
            Solo- alone

Make and sell Antenna systems for Aircraft Radio's. They are called Black Widow TT2000 ANtenna's. Not anything to do with music or Drumming, but it does have a meaning to me. Got a free plug anyway... So if you are a pilot and need better radio reception, I might be able to assist.. If you need any help with drumming ......Hiss crackle Buzzzzzz.... I think I have just lost reception...

                          Cheers

It has always been my username for email and computer accounts at work. I just carried it over to all the forums I belong too.
