  • Anyone know of a source for the backing track used in this video?

Benny Greb solos to this awesome backing track but I cant find any info on the audio and so I thought I would post here and see if anyone else knew anything about it.

My first thought was that it sounded like Bobby McFerrin, and a quick search revealed that Benny Greb has recorded with him. I guess McFerrin was an inspiration for him, as it is a very similar style....

I thought the same thing when I heard his vocals. The first thing that popped into my head was "Don't Worry, Be Happy"

It's off his new solo album titled 'Grebfruit' and the track is by the same name. Listen to clips at the following link.

If you search a little you can also find a 'making of' video at Myspace and a few other tidbits in addition to the second video listed above on Youtube.
