  • Remember the Hang Drum?

There was a thread about the Hang Drum last year, and I just came across a link to a video featuring someone using two of them.

What rock have I been under. I've never heard of hang drums. This is fascinating. What great tone. Mellower and more resonant than steel drums. And what technique it must take to play.

Really interesting. Thanks for the post.

Hold on to your wallets folks. Just saw a completed auction on eBay for a hang drum made in 2005....final bid price?

          $5,700

I still think that is how they made the music for soap operas in the 70's ii

Yikes is right. Looks like all you need are couple of woks, a hammer and a center punch, and you can make your own.
