  • Big Band Charts

Hey a cool way of practicing big band charts is to set up the walking bass sequence and have your crash cymbals trigger the brass hit sound. It's a fun way to get your parts together.

I was referring more to sequencing a walking bass. Is this possible on a TD-8?

Yes, you should first create a MIDI file of the walking bass part. Then load this MIDI file into the TD-8 as a User Pattern (It must be less than 99 bars though) Then assign the sound you want to the bass part and you can then play your drums over the top.
