triggering with RIMS mounts

I was wondering if anyone has triggered using the rims mounts or a similar product. Seems to me that it would help eliminate crosstalk. Any thoughts?

I use RIMS on my SIB pads, but these drumpads resemble to a shallow drum. Hence the RIMS fit perfectly. Don't know if they'll fit Roland pads.

The use?
Yes: they do avoid the resonancies from walking from one tube to another on my drum rack.
No: they don't prevent false triggering since the sound waves coming from my bass guitar player resound directly on my triggers. Not a RIMS mount can prevent this.
