I can relate to acidbrain on that one. You'll find yourself getting up at 3 in the morning to try things out! Sleep now, while you still can...

          TOOOOO LATE!

They came today and I just got everything on the rack....
          "Good Gawd!!!"
          Many adjustments to be made!!!
Tell me it gets better...I'm lost and humbled.

For anyone who was wondering, the V concert set looks alot different in person than in the photos. The purple is a deep metallic
( Almost black ) in average light.
          Looks good;-)

, plenty of , and , , triggered acoustics, , and a plethora of PA blah blah freakin blah...I mean does anyone care about the specifics of pedals, speakers, processors, hardware or anything that I'm using?? Hmmm, maybe this is an appropriate place to mention that I tried out a new cymbal stand the other day...

Nah, he won't be able to resist sneaking over to the computer for a few secs to tell us how "bad a$$" he sounds.

                    Quick question/
I'm a pretty much right in the middle of the drumhead kinda guy..
Any chance of harming that sensor that is touching the head?
Just extra protective at the moment and don't wanna mess anything up.

If your heads are tuned relatively tight then you should be OK.

Has anyone had much luck with the tuning guide on the TD-10 with PD-120/100s? It seemed to get 'dialed in' on 5 of lugs on the PD-120 I was 'tuning', but for the 6th, it wanted me to practically loosen the lug all the way. I backed everything off and started over, but still, that same lug was seen as being too tight on TD-10. I can tune A's no problem. And I've gone to just using my ears to 'tune' the mesh heads too. I want to know if I am missing something about TD-10.

I thought they seemed tight straight out of the box and it called for an extra key turn before playing so yep,I'd say they are super tight!"
                          That's cool right?
My concern is that the sensor seems as though it will wear with time since the cone touches the mesh head and I tend to play a tad hard....I've heard of this being no problem but again,I'm just being over protective.
Has anyone got an idea of the mean-time on these things?

I check mine once/year whether they they need it or not. 29 months and still have the original cones. (I do rotate the snare with the other two PD-120's ~once per year since the snare gets most of the abuse. The tips have flaked a little but there is no degradation of triggering, response, etc.

If your heads are tuned normal to tight, find something else to worry about, like your chops.
Kit Pic 1 Kit Pic 2 Kit Pic 3... And FOR SALE I have: 3 PD-9's, MDS-10 purple rack w/cables/pad and cym mounts. See classified posts for details or PM me.
