You can still pick up the Neil Peart drum parts from early Rush (early as in 1983 - Jeeeeeez, when did I get to old!) at most good drum shops. These are wonderful for getting out the licks that blow by too fast on the recordings, and are mostly accurate as far as I could tell!

I think it's because it's harder to figure out guitar stuff by ear.

Think about it this way, right -
Noone's going to print sheet music for Nirvana or Korn, because it's too easy. Who would buy it?

Why is it that you can find all kinds of books from various bands written for the guitarist and few if any for the drummer? If anyone has a location of books that have tracks with no drums that you can play with please let me know.
