The SDX is still way ahead of what modern systems can achive with exception of the Drumkat. Zone intellegence is very important to me as a drummer, the ability to affect continuous controler info by pressing on a zone for instance. I still prefer FSR for pads, you can hold note or chords just by pressing on a pad. People still seek these old units out for this ability.
