  • If your e-drum pics are at ZING.com

For those of you who have pics in the e-drums pic thread and have them tagged at Zing.com and didn't get this e-mail this is the low down I got today.

With the greatest regret we must inform you that, as of July 2, 2001, the Zing.com service will be shutting down permanently. After this date, your photos will no longer be available on Zing.com

I mentioned this on my post of 6/14 along with a suggested replacement. Most of the services convert your animated gif files into jpg's (which kills the animations, doh).

I found a really nice site yesterday to replace zing. They support animation, are fast, software is decent and you get ample space.

Oh yeh, the site is www.fotki.com

Sheesh Red. I sure didn't mean for it to sound the way I wrote it! Sorry. I recommended another site in that post however I think the Fotki site is better. I loaded a couple hundred pics and couldn't believe how fast they loaded. Gotta get back to my Weckl Father's Day tape.

Happy Drumdaddy to you to bud.
