I hope I don't start anything here ....but for anyone who is a fan of drums and drumming you really should check this out. It's an MP3 (DDRUM) drum composition from MPCman who I think was a V-member a one time , he's not playing V's but the drumming is very good indeed.

I had to right click (save target as) to get it to download. So here is the link check it out...... http://home.soneraplaza.nl/qn/prive/...ayingddrum.mp3

He is, but he should be out doing clinics for ddrum instead! Excellent! Nice technique, nice ideas, wonderful choice of sounds. I really enjoyed that piece. You know, I really love my Rolands, but I have to admit, I've been blown away by the sound quality on every ddrum demo I've heard (are you listening, Putt?)! To my ears, those tom sounds are about as close to the real thing as I imagine you can get. They've got depth, resonance, and overtones that don't sound artificial at all. In my experience with drum modules, tom sounds seem to be one of the hardest things to get right. Gotta tip my hat to MPCman and ddrum on this one.....

      P.S.: Uh, how much is a ddrum4?.....

          That track sounds incredible!

The execution and sounds are done very well.

The ambience and dynamics of that Ddrum4 are amazing. When I played that track through my 600 watt powered mixer the whole place just vibrated.

          Good gag!

On www.ddrums.com MPCman already was unmasked after 2 hours.

It's Terry Bozzio playing there. Not MPCman.

Don't be afraid: the ddrum4 can sound like Terry Bozzio's drums as well.

                I doubt that...
                Maybe on a MP3 you won't notice the difference, but when I saw him play live all I was thinking was;
                1 I can't drum
                2 My ddrums suck
                3 I can't drum

                  Good one MPCMAN

It's still worth the download (excellent drumming)

                    "You been had
                    You been took
                    You been hoodwinked

                    Led astray

Now let's see, where did I put that Neil Peart soundcheck mp3 ......

                      4. but you can modify and adjust your own drums right. No matter if it is a vdrum, ddrum, edrum, fdrum or gdrum.

I don't think it's fair to guage yourself by Bozzio.

Bozzio is the best drummer in the world.

I've seen 2 clinics by him, and I have his videotape also. He's phenominal. Everytime I watch him play, I'm just stunned.
