The New V Cymbal Hi Hat is Shipping!!!!

Hi Everyone,

A while back I placed an order with Musician's Friend for one of the new V-Cymbal hi hats. This was the day they first posted them on their site (just after NAMM in January). Well guess what. Today I got an email saying that it SHIPPED this morning!!!!! I'm pretty excited and I will let you know what I think when it gets here.

I purchased one at guitar center 2 days ago for $209.00. It works well and is a great improvement to the pd-7 in feel and rebound characteristics.

There is no law that says you must use a pd-7 for the highhat.

I agree, I use the PD9 for my HH.

I'll stand corrected, the new cy12HH high hat pad has a better feel and rebound characteristic than either the pd-7,or pd-9. I have tried both and really did,not like either much. That's the reason for the purchase
