For me it`s 2 up 1 down , though I barely use the second High Tom and considered removing it and going to a 1/1 or 1/2 Setup.

3 up 2 down. Would have more if I had space. Love those big kits of the 70s

3 up 2 down is mentioned .. and 2 up 2 down not ? ..strange .. as it's even a standard config on kits in stores..

On my TD30, I have two up and two down (floor position). This was not a choice in the poll. My acoustic kit is two up and one down.

I've gone as far as 3u2d but I'm back to 1u1d. Something about the simple setup just feels better to me.

I've got 2 up, one down on my electronic kit. When I play acoustic, I often go 1 up 1 down - makes it easier to get the ride where I want it. I could also see myself moving to 1 up, 2 down.

Its always been 2 up and one down for me, ever since the 60's. Anyway most of the gigs we got, there was never that much room on the stage for 2 down or 2 base drums.

I do a 3 up and 1 down, but it would be a 3 up and 2 down if I had the extra pad and space. I prefer to have more cymbal triggers...
