  • Edrums Music Shop in London/UK?

Hi guys, I've been searching online but I couldn't find some "big store chain" in London like Sam Ash or Guitar Center in US or big shops that offers edrums. I live in Brazil, but I am heading to Europe in a couple weeks (several cities in Portugal, London/UK, Berlim/Germany, Prague/Czech Republic and Amsterdam/Netherlands) and I'm willing to visit some nice music shops as I always do (my wife hates LOL). I would like to test some edrum kits like Roland TD17KVX (probably will get the TD17 module as aditional gear to my Pearl MP), TD50, Alesis Strike, 2box D3...

So my question is: could anyone recomend some nice music shops for edrums in London (of course if you also know some shops in Berlim or Lisbon it would be nice)?

Thanks a lot and sorry if I posted this in wrong place, feel free to move it.

Footes Drums & Percussion should have an ATV kit setup plus a few mid / low range Roland / Yamaha.

Drumshack has a TD-50 setup in the front window plus other Roland.

Wembley Music Centre is basically a musicians paradise but will be popular. Might have Pearl e/MERGE and Alesis STRIKE kits setup.

Many more acoustic shops around, but those 3 are your best bets for e-drums in London.

P.S. You must go to Drum-tec, if you go to Germany lol.

Good luck finding a 2box anywhere. I have yet to encounter it for sale in most drum shops, let alone to test drive!

    ♦ Diamond Drums 4pc in Di-Noc carbon ♦ MegaDRUM + Roland UA-1010 / cymbals / KT-10 (x2) ♦ Tama / Gibraltar hardware ♦ JBL LSR3 Series 2.1 Monitoring

Man, you saved me!!!! This is exactly what I needed! For sure I will visit those 3 shops, I never tested ATV adrums (had the aD5 though) and eMerge kit, that will be great! About Drumtec I would love to visit them, the problem is the nearst shop to Berlin is around 350km away, my wife would kill me LOL.
Once again thanks a lot for valuable tips.

Thanks for sharing this option, I shall visit them too, it's pretty close to Footes Drums & Percussion mentioned by Kabonfaiba! I just wish Yamaha had some new drum module, long time since their last flagship release. Anyway I like their stuff (already had DTX900, DTX700 and DTX500), sounds good to check it out, thanks!

Andertons in Guildford have a decent drum section too, I've not been in for a while but used to have a whole range set up. 30 minutes by train from central London.

Now this advice would probably be different for acoustic drums and cymbals... but for edrums - London do to Wembley Drum Centre, but if you only have time to visit one shop on your trip, save it for Just Music in Berlin.

I can't even begin to expound on how amazing the drum-tec customer support is. Consider the personal relationship which is invaluable when buying and maintaining e drums, you will get it in droves from drum-tec and also ATV should you go that route. Ask for Marvin Hemme should you contact drum-tec. I order items from drum-tec in Germany from Hoboken, NJ in the U.S. and items carefully packaged and shipped at the end of the business day from Germany arrive at my door somewhere between noon and 1:30 pm EST the next day.
