Hey all,
the display on my TD-12 has been getting progressively worse over several months. Now when I switch the module on, most of the display is faint or gone, as if the contrast is set incorrectly. I can adjust the contrast up and down fully but it makes no difference. It's pretty messed up. After a half an hour or more it gets a bit better, I assume it warms up. Then I can read most of it again. I've already dismantled the module and jiggled the LCD and made sure it is seated right, and that made no difference.
Just curious if anyone has heard of a similar problem and knows a fix?
My drumkit is in a side building and the temp goes down to about 10C (50f) some nights I guess. This doesn't seem excessive to me, and all the other LCD displays in the studio are working fine...
