  • Pattern Sound vs triggered Sound TD 30

Sorry for my bad english-i have some problem with the difference between the sound of a kit when it is played by a pattern like "soundcheck" or when it is played by myself on my pd 105/125/kd120 bk set. The pattern sounds good, my playing sounds much weaker, even when I tweak the trigger settings to the max concerning velocity or Minimum Volume. Is there Somerset extra effect in the factory patterns, that makes same kit sounding better and stronger? Kind regards Alex

    Hey Alex,

My guess is the sounds on the pattern have been tweaked and maximized to sound as great as possible. This includes equalization, effects, volume levels, etc. Without knowing what your sounds are set too, it's hard to answer. I don't use the patterns sounds but I've not had an issue with my triggered sounds.

Sorry I can't help on this one.
