Double Bass Pedal Help????

I have the Roland V-Custom Set and just got a DW Double Bass pedal. My question is how do I clutch the Hi-Hat? I cannot seem to get the Hi-Hat sound to not link to the Hi-Hat pedal so it is always open when I double bass. There is not Closed Hi-Hat sound. I tried to find one but it does not seem to exist. If I make another pad a hi-hat it is auto linked to the pedal. It sucks. I have the TD-8 module.

Selecting the fixed hi-hats will give you what you want, but the hi-hat pedal will not work in this scenario.

I thought the TD-8 had closed HH sounds like the expanded TD-10. Can someone with a TD-8 verify. Check the sound list in the manual.
