  • Recommend Hardware for Mounting Cable/Remote Hi-Hat onto MDS-9 Drum Stand?

    Hi,

    I bought a cable/remote hi-hat stand for a VH-11 and it didn't include a clamp / mounting hardware.
The clamp on a CY-5 mount is too narrow for the top of the stand.
    Any suggestions what could work?

    Cheers,
    Peter

I use a Gibraltar Ultra Adjust Flex Extension Arm.... for both my DW remotes. It has swivel clamps on both ends...a ball joint in the middle....and it extends too. Very versatile.

Thanks for the suggestion Gibraltar SC-EA300 Flex Extension Arm looks very nice, though here it costs more than the hi-hat stand I bought!

Maybe a good 'ol Pearl AX-25L (...the Long-version) would work?
