Hi, as the title suggests, is it possible at all, if so how do I do it. I am trying to get as much as I can out of this kit.

Yes. You could use the MIDI-Out to either connect the TD-11 to a hardware-sampler, or to a computer running VST-plugins or a software-sampler.

I'm not sure what I want to do, I've seen some cool you tube videos using an octapad and wondered how I go about setting that up as an extra to my kit. If it's a standalone unit how do I get the sound to come out of my headphones or amp with the kit module sounds. I assume there is some way to connect them to each other, but to be honest I haven't a clueComment

It's a matter of 'What Sounds d'you like to trigger?' and 'What to trigger it with?'
As a rough example, triggering the sounds of the Octapad with the pads of the TD-11 is possible (with the limitation that you'd trigger the same sounds that are already assigned to the Octapads' own pads (!)...) while triggering the sounds of the TD-11 with the pads of the Octapad is not! (...due to the missing MIDI-input/lack of assignable midi-notes on the TD-11).
