  • Connecting a Gen16 DCP to a TD-30 - Advice please

Hi, I've just bought a second-hand Gen16 DCP (currently on the lookout for some hi-hats if anyone's selling). The Gen16 manual suggests taking the signal from the TD-30 and feeding it into the DCP but ideally I'd like to go the other way round and input the DCP output into the TD30. Can someone tell me if this is possible & if so how do I do it? (I'm guessing I may be able to plug cables into the L&R out sockets on the DCP & feed the signal into the Mix in socket on the TD30 but will this work? If so are these suitable cables - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pulse-6-35mm...GZV9848NZ5Q7DQ)

    Thanks in advance

The answer is yes to both questions. You've got it figured out correctly.

If you're going into an amp, you may want to take the TD-30 and DCP as separate inputs so you have even more control.

^^^ exactly take output from the td 30 and one from gen 16... I was running as zildjian suggested and it wound up "eating" some of the sound
