DW and Roland

Like the dw's in a hybrid kit . It's funny For some silly reason I always feel like the dw's are too high end to to make an a to e but I always liked the looks of them including their hardware. But what the hey, if you have the money and the drums Why not , but make it a 2box . DW conversion or hybrid, lol

I visited the Ringo exhibition and played the Learn from Ringo game. Interestingly, the kit has a mix of Pintech and Roland mesh heads.

How did you know it was pintech?

I was just thinking! DW and Roland . What could be a more natural pairing? Overpriced and overpriced! They could make beautiful music together!

Ringo probably said to Joe. Hey Joe, can you imagine the poor slobs that actually have to pay for these? And Joe probably replied , Thank God we have sponsors, because I would never pay those ridiculous prices, now let's get a cocktail!

How did you know it was pintech?

It said "Pintech".

The module was Roland.

More accurately, the bass mesh head was Pintech. The snare and toms were Roland because they were 12" and 14", from memory.

Now it's clear why pintech (or any other brand). Roland doesn't have heads larger than 14".

The dw/ Roland "Ringo Kit" was originally previewed at the Grammy Museum @ LA Live as a part of the "Ringo Peace and Love" exhibit around 9 months ago, in June 2013. This particular kit was a "one off" project dw built specifically for the exhibit.
