Ok so I got a cheap ass millenium 12" mesh head snare/tom spare. was wondering if i put a spare ddrum trigger i have on this and trigger that in input 2 as a standard snare.then take the milleniums own input and put that into another trigger input on the module.would i be able to dual layer two snares together? Something im thinking about before i do my every 6 month strip the kit down and have a bit of a change around.i presume i would have to turn off the cross talk???

If you want to trigger both sounds from one pad then yeah, that should work
obviously trying to separate the triggers would be very hard.--

well after a nice new rack rebuild and all that, i had an input spare.sooooooo i had yamaha tp100 snare which was triggering the td6v and my akai mpx8. I managed to attach a spare ddrum trigger to my tp100 and that goes into the td6v.so that gave me 3 snare drum sounds on the pad.i added a 4th sound by using the extra input to trigger the akai as well.so i now have a layered four sound snare drum which sounds amazing.mixing together 4 different snare sounds has really paid off.playing around with settings was minimal to achieve this.well happy with going that route.A2E Natal Arcadia jazz, 18 kick,12 tom,14 floor and 14 dual zone snare, pd85 side snare, triggered by 2box trigit, powered by td15 with drumtec sound edition and cy8, cy12,vh10 cymbals, lemon 18, 3 zone ride.

Yamaha modules allow sound layering from single pads. I forgot if it is 2 sounds or up to 4 sounds. Time to open the manual again for me.DTX700, eDRUMin 4+10, A2E Dixon kit, Yamaha cymbals, FSR HH
