  • TD30 - start and stop click using a pad or foot switch

On the Yamaha DTX700 module you can assign a pad function to turn the click track on/off. I'm trying to do this on the TD30 but turning the click on/off is not one of the available functions. Is there a way to do this? Does anyone know of a way to do this?

One workaround I'm yet to try is to set up a one bar sequence and assign that as a pad function...thinking i'd have to do it on the percussion track so i can isolate the audio to just the headphones. Any other ideas?
