  • ezdrummer basic question

Hi all, Just some basic ezdrummer questions. I recently bought a td9 and am wondering exactly how to link it with the software. I have a midi to USB cable to connect it to my laptop. Will the ezdrummer kit become a kit on my td9, so essentially would I be able to use the record function, and rhythm tracker/scope? Also the td9 pads are dual trigger, I want to use the rims as cowbells. Ezdrummer rock/pop doesn't have a cowbell does it? So could I run all the kit through ezdrummer, and the rims as the td9 cowbells at the same time? Thanks, JQ

    Welcometo the forum, JQ85!

Make sure you read through our 'VST Primer" sticky, in the VST-subforum!

EZDrummer will not become a kit in the TD-9 itself, but it's sounds will simply be triggered via the TD-9.
You can assign your rims to play a cowbell sound. If there isn't one in EZD already, you'd have to go with a cowbell-sound from the module itself!

    Happy Drumming!

The easiest thing for you to do is download EZPlayer from Toontrack:

Set it up, plug in your module to the computer via MIDI. Configure EZPlayer, then load EZD, select the kit (if you have more than what came with the basic package).

Escape to this historic Bed and Breakfast, located in one of the most picturesque little towns along the Missouri River.
