  • HD-3 Additions?

Is it possible to add another cymbal pad to the existing setup. I notice there's a rubber stopper that can be replaced on the right-hand side. If so, how exactly?
Has anyone been succesful doing this?

On the back of the unit there are two jack inputs labeled 'Tom 4' and 'Crash 2' that can be used to expand the HD-3 via regular pads and cables.

That's it regarding expandability for the HD-3 though. Anything more, and you will have to upgrade the module to something bigger, to the best of my knowledge.

      Thanks for your reply.

I have looked for the two jack inputs that you mentioned but I cannot see them anywhere. Could you let me know exactly where they are located. The only sockets that I can see (on the unit 'brain') are : Midi Out, Mix In, Output, Headphones and the DC adaptor input. Thanks.

Sorry, can't help you much there. I do not have a HD-3 to look at physically.
I was going by a stock photo that shows off the rear of the module...
