I ended up buying my new acoustic 6 piece kit PDP Concept maple by DW with 25% Off on Saturday for $600 with free shipping and a Zildjian K Customs Package - 2 crashes (17" & 18"), 21" ride and hi hats for $650. I think that's pretty sweet for a complete new kit for a little over $1200. I already have all my hardware! All I need to complete my set is a 16" Zildjian A Custom EFX cymbal.
