  • TD-30 . . . not getting cymbal swells at all

Could have sworn when I first started playing the td-30 I was doing swells just fine. It's not doing them at all now. I'm using the default sounds, no addons. Cymbals are CY-12 and CY-5.
Are there trigger settings I may have tweaked to inadvertently eliminate cymbal swells?

I would check your trigger settings once again and make sure there isn't anything wacky about them. Then I would check what instrument you have the cymbal set to. The Bank A cymbals swell a lot better than the Bank B (and so on) cymbals.
I think my work is done here.

Ah, that's it then. Not only was I not using bank A cymbals, I was using 10" splash trying to get that "paper thin" crash sound. That's why no swells. All is good now, cheers!!
