I'm looking to get one of these, not much else on the market in thus price range with this many inputs and features
Roland TD-30KV, Pearl Demon Drive Double Pedal, Pearl H1000 hit hat stand, Shure SE530 IEMs, AKG K171 MKII Headphones, Mackie DLM PA, Yamaha MG102C mixer, Roland Studio Capture
Hey Jake!! I got one 3 weeks ago for recording my Videos. I do direct into Logic Pro X on my Mac. So easy to use!!! I looked at other units and had used presonus in the past and never looked back when I purchased this unit. I absolutely love it. I also use a direct in from my module through a 8 channel XLR to TRS snake. Works like a charm- plus I record midi data too with my Videos now too!!
I've been looking at the studio capture, but have also been considering mixing consoles with multichannel USB streaming (eg A&H Mixwizard, Qu-16 etc). Yet to make up my mind which way i'm going. Appears to be cheaper to buy the studio capture and a separate (non-streaming) mixer. I know the studio capture can do mixing via a computer...
The sudio capture looks awesome, yet to hear a bad word about it.
anyone else looking at such options?

Could you use a hardware-controller like the Mackie Control Universal, to remote-control a Studio-Capture as an alternative to a digital mixing console?
Just thinking-out loud...
