trigger problems,mpc2000

i am having trouble triggering my roland drums from my mpc2000, how do i do this?, I thought i had had all the settings right, i could hear the drums ont he mpc , but the mpc was not sending to the drums, i had it in hand shake form of cables. So if anyone has any suggestions, please do so.

You need to set the track that you wanna send to your V-drums to an external midi channel, matching the V-drums.
Then it will work.
