  • CY-6 Cymbal Make Noise When Not Struck?

I have a V-Club Set, and I love it, but I have experienced on many occasions a cymbal sound with out striking the cymbal.
It seems to occur when I'm doing something close to the cymbals, such as stick clicks.
Has anyone else experienced this, or is something with my settings, such as sensitivity?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you!

That's interesting, I just noticed a couple of nights ago that my PD-80R was triggering when I did stick-clicks right above it. Thought it was only an issue with mesh pads. I think decreasing your sensitivity will take care of the problem.

This is fairly common, it's called crosstalk.
Raise the crosstalk threshold setting, not sure how to get to it on your module. Raise it only enough to correct the problem, though or you will decrease your sensitivity. Perhaps someone else with the club kit can explain where that setting is or you could RTFM.

Right, crosstalk would be if he were hitting a pad close to the cymbal. I'm assuming by "stick clicks" he meant that he was not in contact with the set at all, in which case I don't think the crosstalk setting would come into play?

I believe he is talking about crosstalk. Go into your trig settings and increase your "crosstalk cancellation".
