Single KD80, KD120 Precision Using Dbl. Bass?

Hey Gang.

I haven't yet played my V-Custom set, and hoped to get some opinions. In 6-7 days I'll setup my DW5002AD-Double Bass Pedals on 1-KD80 pad. I'm just wondering (for those of you that have 2 beaters to a KD80/KD120) if the response is precise, even when doing 16th note triplet rolls? Off the top of my head: Listen to the 1st 4, or the last 4 measures of Anthrax'& Public Enemy's "Bring Tha Noize", as an example.
