Is there a way to trigger yout hat to remain closed while double=bassing? Any help would be appreciated!! :-)

Firstly, Welcome aboard.
Secondly, what module are you using (Hint: Try typing it in your profile so it comes up in the left hand column)?
Thirdly, the most xlnt search engine can be used to help you find answers to a lot of your questions.
Fourthly, if you tell us what sort of module you have, someone will tell you how to close the HH!Steve

Perhaps a simpler approach would be to use an aux input and a PD-7 pad next to the hi-hat. Assign it the closed hat sound. I'm not home to verify it but don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
