if some one can answer this ill be amazed as i have long waited.....heard it is possible but japan roland said only, 'that it is hard to do??????'. how do i configure pd120 pads on a td10 brain to double trigger from the tom inputs as i have bought three pd120 pads and only the snare will double trigger.... i beleive only the crash1 and snare are set for this...?? can somone help??

It is always good to see another Aussie joining the fray - we are far and few between here.
You have touched on a HUGE issue here. There is a lot to do to pull off such a task and you will never get true separate triggers from your rim/head sound on your toms.
One of the members here (Feefer) is currently working on a manual as a bit of a how to do it. It might pay to wait it out till it appears.
The members here have nicknamed two separate things the 'Holy Grail' and 'Shack Adapting'. Both of which utilise the second trigger in a pad such as the PD-120 but not in the way in which you think.
To my understanding 'Shack Adapting' will give you velocity sensitive layering of the head and rim sounds. ie. Softer hits = head sound, Harder hits = rim sound
The 'Holy Grail' involves splitting the second input to allow the rim sound to be triggered by a separate pad.
Please note, it is bloody hard to get these things working properly. It is as far away as a 'plug and play' type scenario as you can get. It will involve many hours of frustration, plenty of tweaking, experimentation and much gnashing of teeth. And even then you may only get 60% accuracy.
Having done my best to put you off attempting this if you want to go ahead then use the search engine and read every thread containing Shack and Grail. Bear in mind that a lot of those threads are incorrect and contain misleading information. They (at best) will give you a starting point.
