  • TDW-1 upgrade?

Hello To All, I'm new to the V-Drums.com, forum.I've been checking out the cite for some time.I got enough feedback/info from all of you here,to make my decision to purchase a V-drums Concert Set for my studio. Thanks to all of you! I'm not a drummer and I do value your opinions,I am happy with my purchase but need your opinion on the TDW-1 upgrade. Is it needed, what are the advantages? I've been told that there is a difference in the hi-hat,cymbal trigger responce. But have also heard that the kits that are on the card aren't worth the cost of the card.Any help would be greatly appreciated.God bless!

      EZ...

Get out that credit card, get on the phone and order it NOW. You got that? NOW I said. Quit asking questions. Don't putz around another minute.

I'm one of those who thinks only a small percentage of kits is worth while, HOWEVER, it's foolish to pay for the TD-10 and only use the pre-programed stuff. There are some very improved cymbals, tom's, snares, added closed hat sounds, etc available for your tweaking pleasure. And, coupled with the new features, like revised sliders, global direct out settings, trigger chase lock, a compressor that actually works, pitch change, hi-hat chick volume, rim click, and more, I'd never volunteer to do without it.

The TDW-1 manual is available. Go to cyberjam's website, click on virtual mp3 studio ftp site and download the manual.

      Then, buy it.
Kit Pic 1 Kit Pic 2 Kit Pic 3... And FOR SALE I have: 3 PD-9's, MDS-10 purple rack w/cables/pad and cym mounts. See classified posts for details or PM me.

Yes get to my site soon!

If you do not have the PDF manuals for the TD-10 and TDW-1 I suggest you pop over to my FTP site soon! Certain changes in my life may render my whole present online existence at an end.

Yep, money is getting tight and my cable modem with 24/7 access and server upgrades and such are near at an end. There is a very good chance that I will cease to be a member of this excellent online community in about a month if things do not change.

My ISP has not killed my FTP yet so I am lucky! The changes in my position may do what my ISP has not, kill my connection...

So I suggest if you were wanting to get these manuals the time for hesitation is over! Get 'em while you can.

The computer industry is suffering from a major downturn this year and my employer is screwing me around. It is possible I could be out of a job in a short time. So enjoy this FREE service I am providing while you can!

            Thanks!

              In regards the MDX2200...

I use the MDX2200 for my voice and think it works well enough. I have tried tweaking it for other things like my guitar and the V's (not really necesary for edrums) just for fun. IF you can get one for real cheap it is worth the money.

I am going to have a look at the newer one to see what the differences are. I don't plan to upgrade anytime soon but would like to know what the features of the next one are...
