  • Which watt voltage stepdown converter to buy?

I have just bought a td-10 module from the U.S & need to use it in the U.K. I went to look at voltage stepdown converters earlier & there were 3 different ones. 1 - up to 30watt 2 - up to 50watt & 3 - up to 100 watt. As the td10 manual is in the mail does anyone know which would cope with the td-10 as they double in price as they go up.

Doesn't the TD-10 take care of this for you without the need for any additional equipment? I thought sure I'd seen a post or something in the manual on this.

Must have been some other equipment I was thinking of. The manual just says "before using in a foreign country, consult with your dealer or qualified Roland service tech".

      hi,

Indeed, the TD-10 takes care of the voltage conversion. You can feed it anything from 100V to 240V 50/60Hz and it will adjust automatically. Just plug it to a 240V outlet using a standard cable (e.g. that similar to a desktop computer or monitor) and that'll do it.

So I wasn't dreaming I had read that! I wonder what the reason was for that note in the manual? I guess "foreign country" covers the entire planet so they were covering their butt. Cool....
