pole pad problems

hey all

i need some help with a pole pad,

Problem 1: the only out put that works is the 1/M, i guess thats the mono output

Problem 2: even tho that one side (1/M) works, its very faint, and i have to crank the sensitivity on the TD-10 to even hear a sound

this is basically a new unit, rarely used, and about 3 yrs old, never abused

anyone know whats up, please reply to [email protected] privately with any and all help

One or two people on this site have used one. I believe all you are going to get is mono when used with the TD-10. You probably need to look at your trigger settings and select a pad type that is more suitable to the pole pad.

Do a search and maybe you can PM one of the members who has one.

I have a polepad in the AUX11/12 on my TD-8 and it triggers separately. It works great. Mine is about a year old.

There was an old thread which had opinions on both ends of the spectrum.

Sounds like you need to use 2 inputs for it to dual trigger but if you don't mind that, it's a good by.
