  • Nervous about the live sound.........

I've got a TD-10, and we're just about ready to play live. We've got kind of a loud sound, and i'm worried that my v-drums are not going to cut through or have any power. Does anyone have any suggestions about dealing with this? Maybe some other equipment that could help.........

    Thanks,
    Brian

bbe's are supposed to help in pa settings............my td-10 comes in really hot during live recordings.........i usually have to bring the attenuation back down during playback.........it cuts thru the guitar like butter.just my opinion.

      mo hotta mo betta

I had a hard time getting enough gain going into direct boxes. I added a small Mackie mixer and used the direct outs from the TD-10 into the mixer and got a hotter signal out of the mixer. Only drawback is you have to do your own submix and get feedback (no pun intended) from the soundman on your mix.
