$3300 for a V-Pro set with V-Cymbals and a TDW-1 is not a bad price at all. Sam Ash is currently selling the V-Pro alone for $3000. Just make sure the TDW-1 is the recent version with V-Cymbal control, or else you'll be wondering where that third zone on your V-ride went to.
There's only one TD-10, the V-Session's brain is the TD-10/TDW-1 combination, and the pads are the same apart from the colour, of course.
The only difference is the old clamps are prone to breakage.

If you can afford it, it sounds like a great buy at current prices. You will essentially have a Session set (with the exception of not getting a KD-120 bass trigger and the improved rack) for about $700-900 less than the best deals I've seen. You could buy a KD-120 if you wanted and a Gibraltar rack (even better) for less than the leftover difference. Then you would have an equal or superior set to the Session (and in a different color) for cheaper than the current best internet new prices. Not bad.

While you consider your decision, you should keep in mind that if you buy, not long after, someone will try to convince you that you should have bought something else (ddrum, etc.) or something new will eventually come along. Looking at your options now, like you're doing is a good idea. Be sure before you buy, and then just enjoy.

For what it's worth. I looked at virtually everything, (pretty exhaustively), and the two best products out there IMHO are the Roland flagship components and the ddrum flagship stuff. Between them is a matter of preference and great debate among many folks here. I went with the Roland product based on my individual needs and taste.

If I had it to do again, at least to this point, I'd buy the same thing I got, which is very similar to what you're considering, without hesitation. I hope your decision is right for you too.

THIS SEEMS LIKE A PRETTY GOOD DEAL. THE V-CYMBALS W/ TDW-1 USUALLY RUN ABOUT $1300. WHICH MEANS YOURE GETTING THE PRO FOR $2000.
ARE YOU GETTING THE PD-9 PADS ALSO? IF SO THAT MAKES THIS DEAL EVEN BETTER. YOU CAN USE ONE OF THEM AS AN EXTRA CYMBAL AND SELL THE OTHERS ON EBAY FOR $80 TO $100 EACH. LIKE MCCONAGHY SAID-MAKE SURE YOUR TDW-1 HAS V-CYMBAL CONTROL.

What's the difference between the newer and older version of the TDW-1? Is it just cymbal control and if so what's the difference in that?

Thanks guys for all the responses I really do appeciate them. No I do not get the PD-9 pads I had to swap the pads for the Cymbals.

I have another question they have an extra V Session Rack They will not do an even swap they will take $200 more and then swap out the racks or I could pay $350.00 for the V Session Rack and then keep the Pro Rack. Is the new rack worth an extra $200?

I have heard alot of people complaining about the old rack. Is it better to buy the Gibralter? Hell I am not sure on the rack but I have a chance on upgrading the rack if I want to pay a little extra.

I have the V-Session kit. The rack that comes with it (the new red one) is much better than the old Roland rack if you can live with the red. I haven't had it long enough to see how it will hold up to hard travel. (I'm semi-retired so I'm no longer constantly on the road.)

I can tell you that if you don't plan on heavy travel with your kit that the new Session rack is plenty solid. In fact, I really like the curved design and the way it sets up for V-drums.

All that said, Gibraltar makes a rock solid product. I have used their stuff quite a bit. You could get a rack from them for about the same money, and IMO it would probably hold up as well as anything. I have seen some threads on this site, discussing appropriate models, etc. so if you're interested, do a search.

This is a matter of preference and practicality. Get a rack that will place the pads where you want them and hold up to the level of abuse you foresee. And in case you haven't heard, Roland hardware is expensive, so if you decide to go with the Session rack because of the good price, make sure it comes with all the hatched clamps and rods and stuff you are going to need or you may find that it isn't such a good deal after all.

I'd keep the V-Pro rack just for the looks, and swap all the Roland clamps and holders for Gibraltar parts. The Gibraltar parts are not only cheaper, they're better by far.

Thanks Guys! I just picked up the kit yesterday and found out they gave me 2 of the Cy6s for $95 and did not give me the V cmbal 14 and 15. The guy made a mistake. So I had to talk to the manager and I had to pay an extra $100 so I ended up with the KD120 the Vpros (without the V session Rack) expansion card for$3,700.00. (I do ave to install the card myself)

I looked at the Gibralter clamps and call me stupid but I was not sure how those would work. Do you need a different L rod or am I not looking at this right. I know they work because alot of people are using them.

Thanks again I now need to get them setup and learn how to tune the dam things.

Any 10.5 mm L-rod will work just fine, mate, don't worry about it.
