  • What mesh head in a DIY tom

    Hi all,

I'm working on an A to E conversion and looking for my mesh heads.
I saw some times that Roland are really better quality.
The problem i have is that the Roland mesh heads are 3 to 6 times the price of the Pearl, T-Drum or Tama.

For example, the only price i found here in europe for a 14" Roland mesh head is 68€ (94USD) ... a little too expensive

Does someone have good experience with Tama or Tdrum?

    Thanks,
    Jojo.

Did you check the Hart Magnums?
TD-12; TD-6V; FD-8; Hart Pro Toms, Snare, Bass; ECII hihat, crashes, splash & ride; Smartrigger crashes & china; Hart Hammer Pad; Pintech Dingbat; Iron Cobra double-bass.

Unfortunately, it seems that HART Magnums are not distributed yet in Europe.
I found one US dealer who can export... but it will be very much expensive than the Roland here so...

Thanks, I think i'll have to try TDRUM, we'll see if i post a "NEVER BUY TDRUM MESH" thread in next weeks
