  • Trying to replace my Guitar Hero World Tour Pedal with my TD3 one.

I managed to have the 3.5 phono cable converting into a 6.3 on the other end but when the pad is hit there is no detection. Does anyone have this at all?

The Guitar Hero pedal is a switch. Simple on/off. Roland pads produce a voltage. They are two completely different beasts and won't work together.

You can do it easily if you use your module/TMI. The GHWT kit has a midi in. Hook up only your bass drum trigger to your module and route the midi out from your module to the midi in on the GHWT drum set. Make sure your note is mapped correctly and it is done.

Of course at this point I would just use the whole TD3, but you don't have to use the whole thing to get it to work as the GHWT triggers still work when you have midi hooked in.
