  • piezos, velocity sensitive?

    I'm new to Vdrums.

I have done a search and have not been able to find out if all piezos are velocity sensitive.

    Thanks

Welcome to the wonderfull world of DIY!

A piezo outputs a stronger voltage the more you distort it.

So in answer to your question yes they are, they dont have a constant output voltage.

You might find this site interesting, it tells you how they work etc: how piezos work

      Thanks, good info.

I've got the bug now. All I need to do now is find some 10" toms and start this project.
