compact memory cards for TD-20 and SPD-S..

Where can they be got? I mean any flash memory cards less than 2GB now are yesterdays news and I can't find a shop anywhere on line that sells a 512MB card or less.
Roland say that 512MB is the biggest that they can handle. Is this true, or are the manuals just so out of date that 512MB was the largest memory card available at the time?
If anyone knows where I can get some it would be great. I want to get some VExpression kits and some point but I'll have nothing to put them on.

Amazon often has them, and yes, the 512 limit is real...a reason some of us are hoping for a new model of the SPD-s, and the TD30.----well, i can dream, cant I?

They have them. I never thought of looking in Amazon as there are a lot of things that they won't ship to Ireland for some strange reason. I'll see if they'll sell me one.

Yeah, just as I thought. They won't ship to Ireland. I don't get it, I buy cd's from them all the time. They just won't ship anything like computer parts or software. They won't even ship computer games.
I'll have to think of something else as I can't even find second hand ones on ebay. If anyone knows of any where else....

if that doesnt work, sent the card to a friend in the states...
if that doesnt work, send the card to my aunt in the states...

Call up a local camera shop. Digital cameras always ship with small cards, and you may get a lucky break if they have one sitting around.
I have an older digital camera that takes SmartMedia, and the local shop GAVE me a couple cards they had sitting in a drawer...to think all that I spent on those cards when they were popular.

Thanks guys. I'll try ebay again. I don't know why I didn't see 512mb's on it if they're there. Failing that I'll do the camera shop thing.
A neighbour of mine travels to the uk every Monday and returns on the Friday. He'll let me use his address as a postal destination if I need to buy from amazon. So I'll be sorted either way.

Guitar Center also has them. They do cost $50 for a 512MB one but you can get them easily.
I have no idea if GC has any center in Ireland though.

No Guitar Center in Ireland. I've been to a few in the states. Great shops. I've been to one in Austin, Texas and one on Sunset Boulevard in L.A.
€50? That's very expensive! I found a few on ebay for £5 and another £5 for postage. Thanks chaps.

I have some 64 meg CF cards, would they be of use to anyone or is that capacity too small for anything useful?
