Has anyone ever used one of these? I just purchased a TD-6KW and am looking for another crash cymbal but don't want to pay $100 for another CY-8. This seems to be a decent alternative. Any feedback is apreciated. Thanks.

First off, Welcome aboard marhood! I noticed these are sold on ebay. Did you look at the sellers feedback to see if anyone talked about how they like them? That is probably the only way to gauge how good they are, unless somebody here on this forum has bought one. -
Thank you. I've been anonymously poking around here since I began contemplating buying a td3 or td6. Found lots of valuable info.
I did read the feedback and it seems to be generally good but you never know who's posting that stuff. It could be a half dozen of his buddies trying to get his rating up. I was hoping someone on here had experience with these. I'd also be glad to take suggestions for a bargain cymbal I could use as a crash that would work with the td6v. ThanksComment

I think a CY-8 is a bargain cymbal as it's dual trigger and reasonably quiet. They're only $85 most places, and there's one for $45 here: ROLAND TD-6V module - CY-8 pads
