  • Roland SPD-S, where to start???

Ok I bought an SPD-S off of ebay, with no manual. I've seen the manual online and was a little overwhelmed. Is there a better place to start with learning the basic functions i.e. choosing sounds, importing wav samples off of a cf card, assigning pads etc.?
I appreciate any pointing in the right direction.

At the Roland US SPD-S product page, on the Support tab, there's a Turbostart PDF intro to some functions.

And if you search for SPD-S at their Knowledge Base, there are 30 FAQs (and answers!).

Ask here if you get stuck. (But try to read the manual sometime.)
